I’ve knitted these mitts in my favourite ‘fishbone’ tuck stitch, which makes a linear, two colour pattern with subtle surface texture. I’ve used ribbing at the wrist, fingers and thumb for a neat fit and added a delicate, decorative braid for extra colour and texture. I originally designed these mitts for a wildlife photographer, so they’re great for when you want to be cosy (I’ve knitted a doubled wrist cuff for extra warmth) but need to use your fingers for cameras, dog stuff, etc.
