This soft and cosy cowl is knit in 100% Scottish Lambswool. I add texture by latching up thick braids that run around the cowl and by knitting neat, corded edges. 
I knit this cowl in luxurious Lalland wool. This is a truly local product from Di Gilpin, based only a few villages away, made from Scottish sheep’s wool, spun on the shore of Loch Leven and dyed in colours inspired by the local landscape. Di Gilpin works magic in this Scottish yarn, using only the finest wool fibres and spinning them into a marshmallowy soft yarn; this is the softest British yarn I have found so far and wearable next to sensitive skin.
