Three shades of hand-dyed, soft and silky merino wool fade into each other in these drapey cowls. To all that colour, I’ve also added texture by hand-latching substantial braids (hence their ‘hawser’ name from ship’s ropes) and knitted corded edges. I hand graft these cowls into a seamless loop.
Colourways:
Sea dusk: bright sea green fades into a deep blue and then a turquoise & violet mix wool
Rockpool: seaweedy green fades into a soft sea glass green and then a light, watery blue
Mother of pearl: A pale sea glass green fades into a silvery blue and then a pearly, very pale violet, giving a mother of pearl effect, like the inside of a sea shell
Bramble jam: three fruity purples grade into each other, from a rich, dark purple, through a lilac with silvery variegation, to a vibrant violet-indigo mix.
