I knit this cowl in silky soft 100% merino wool, in a subtly textured honeycomb pattern in two honeyed shades. I knit a corded edge onto the cowl and then embroider a little near life-size, semi-3-dimensional honeybee, in cotton, silk and Bluefaced Leicester wool threads, adding eyes as tiny black glass beads.
The cowl is 50cm circumference and 25cm tall.
