These Tiny Beasties make fun Christmas decorations, and I also keep one hanging in a glass lantern filled with fairy lights all year round.
I knit and stuff my tiny mountain hares in their snowy winter coats in Jamieson's 100% Shetland wool, in natural white, embroidering their distinctive black ear tips in Shetland wool. I then wet-felt down the little hares to sweet miniatures.
I embroider their faces using cotton embroidery floss and little glass beads and sew on a cotton hanging loop.
I give some of the hares a delicious stalk of blooming heather, which I knit and embroider in Shetland wool. Other hares are busy working away on their knitting or crochet (both of which I make in Shetland wool, making the needles from wood and the crochet hook from bamboo).
Mountain hares are about 7.0cm tall (+/- 1.0cm), excluding the hanging loop.
Every hare is slightly different, and I list them individually, so that you know exactly what you're getting!
The tiny beasties have small parts and are not suitable for small children.
Please store them carefully in a dry place.
