I've knit this little floaty scarflette from a lovely soft, light mix of Suri alpaca and silk. Although the yarn is fine and I've used a lacey tuck stitch, the long alpaca fibres form a soft halo, making this scarf a lot warmer than you might expect for it's thistledown weight (about 23g, or less than one ounce).
I've used Iolair Yarn's Iona lace, hand-dyed in a rockpooly colourway of green with dashes of old gold and seaglass.
Starry Scarves are approximately 130cm long by 14cm wide.
Starry Skies scarf- hand-dyed
Cool, gentle hand wash. Dry flat, stretched out hard to shape, away from direct heat.
This is knit in Iolair Yarn's Iona, a soft and silky baby Suri Alpaca (74%) and silk (26%) mix.
