I’ve knitted this cowl in my ‘strung leaves’ lace pattern, with traditional Shetland lace steeks running through the middle and along both edges. I’ve hand grafted the lace into a seamless loop. This cowl is long enough to wind twice around you neck or just to hang in one long, graceful loop. I’ve used soft, silky lightly variegated hand-dyed merino wool in a range of colours.
