Beastie Brooches
Here are my new tiny beastie brooches - based on my tiny beastie decorations but even smaller (from about 4.5cm to 7cm tall). I knit and stuff them in Jamieson's Sprindrift Shetland wool and embroider them with cotton embroidery floss and glass beads. I've knit this bunch ready for the Woolly Good Gathering in Edinburgh, where I've a pop-up on Saturday 18th April, 9am - 1pm. I'll be putting them in my online shop after the Woolly Good Gathering.

Spring badgers
It's a grey old rainy day here, so here's a ridiculous little video of daffodils and sunshine from last week. Badgers are usually better know from their lawn work (digging holes for tasty grubs), but this badger was caught on film while daffodil gardening. Whitebeam Mitts 🍂
My Whitebeam Mitt knitting pattern is in the upcoming issue 8 of The Journal Of Scottish Yarns . Their design reflects the Swedish Whitebeam trees that line the old marketplace in the village where I live. A line of Swedish Whitebeam berry bobbles and a lobed leaf travel down the back of the hand, enclosed by curving cables.
